Change freshwater with anti freeze mixture run engine for 30 mins. Use pipes to drain as already set up. Capacity 3.4 litres.
Change oil, SAE 15w-40 API ci-4 (2.6 litres)
Change oil filter
Check and change gear oil Bi annual ( as above ) (.3 litre) Change fuel filters and bleed
Run fresh water through raw water inlet and drain inlet pipe
Check clean or replace air filter
Slacken drive belts
Remove impellor
Spray engine with WD
Coat battery terminals with Vaseline
Seal exterior exhaust hole
Check and clean engine anti siphon valve
Check exhaust hose and exhaust elbow
Top up fuel
Check all screws, bolts clips etc
4. Clean and polish hull, deck and topsides
5. Clear water from bilges and clean
6. Gel coat repairs
7. Service all cocks and check double clipped and not rusty and plugs still attached
8. Wash and check roller reefing system
9. Clean and drain water system, toilet and pumps
10. Remove all exterior equipment
11. Install heater and dehumidifier check dehumidifier filter
12. Remove and layup outboard and rubber
13. check life raft for service interval
14. put antifreeze in heating system
15. Wash down windlass, spray with WD and Vaseline electrics
WINTER JOBS
1. Check and grease steering cables, check securing nuts. Check rudder system including gland, and bearing.
2. Ensure engine spares of oil/fan belts/impellors/gaskets/fuel filters/Oil filter. Oil spec is 15W40 API CH-4SLl ACEA B3 B4 E3 E5
3. Check and varnish boat hook if necessary
4. Check flares and replace if necessary( expire 12-2016 )
5. check fire extinguishers
6. Check life jackets hold pressure and gas cylinders, salt tablets ok.
7. Clean and proof spray hood. Dodgers, sail covers, stern cloth, rope bags, fender coth
8. Clean winch handle holder
9. Touch up varnish
10. Check running rigging and standing rigging
11. Clean and polish topsides, deck and hull
12. Clean fittings/chrome on deck
13. Service all winches
14. Lubricate all fittings
15. Check and lubricate anchor, chain and connections, clean out chain locker.
16. Check the life line cordage
17. Check and clean fenders
UNDERWATER HULL JOBS
1. Clean propeller
2. Clean fill and paint keel
3. Prep for antifouling
4. Antifoul
5. Paint waterline stripes
6. Clean and polish Hull
7. Treat topside wood
8. Clean teak in cockpit
9. Check anodes
10. Check cutlass bearing
11. Check for any play in rudder
IN WATER JOBS
1. Check and fit mooring ropes
2. Check and replace sails and grease runners
3. Check mast balance and forestay sag
4. Clean out and fill water tanks
5. Check all electrical systems working inc Nav lights
6. Install outboard and rubber
7. Top up petrol and diesel
8. Household stores
9. Clothes and bedding
10. Replace any gear taken home
11. Wash down and polish interior and floor
12. Fit all exterior equipment
13. Check anchor and connections
ENGINE
Replace impellor
Tighten drive belts
Unseal exterior exhaust hole
Run and check for leaks
Check stern gland for leakage
